There are times when the framing plan layout in Revit does not match the RAM model layout. The RAM model may have been configured left-right or bottom-top but the project plans need to show the framing plan on a skew. Revit provides Crops for this. You apply a Crop to a view and rotate it by the desired amount.

Depending on the Crop View rotation amount and direction, some of the already placed annotations may apear incorrect. The data is correct and they will be readable (if the tag has the Keep Readable parameter set ON) but some annotations won't be located above/below the line like the typical framing. The native Revit annotations do the same thing depending on the original member orientation.

Specifically, a typical beam annotation could consist of end reactions below the beam line and section/studs/camber located above the line. If the Crop View is rotate enough, the 'above' becomes 'below' and the 'below' becomes 'above'. The text is readable but now the reactions are above the line and the section label is below.

Voxel Link does support Cropped view rotations. If your project is going to have rotated views, there are a couple options. One option is to delay any annotation until the Crop view is created and rotated. Once that is set, annotations will be created with the view rotation accounted for. If the plans have already been annotated, then the decision is made to rotate the view, you could delete all of the annotations in the model, then reannotate with Voxel Link (even if no members have changed) to have it incorporate the view rotation in the new annotations. Or, you could delete the offending annotations only, then run Voxel Link and it will reannotated just those missing annotations.
