Voxel Link (VL) loads all RAM structural steel shape Revit families on the fly. All of the steel shapes available in RAM are available in Revit. VL looks to the default Revit installation folder for the structural family files – wide flanges, channels, angles, etc. - for example C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2024\Libraries\English-Imperial\US\Structural Framing\Steel\AISC 15.0\.

There are about two dozen files (structural framing and structural columns) searched when a new family is needed. If you have made custom changes to some families, they will need to be available in the default folders on the local desktop. The following is a list of all the families searched (names vary slightly depending on the Revit version):
