Installation

The installer automatically detects which versions of Revit are installed on your machine by checking for the existence  of the addins folder for each version of Revit. You can choose which of those versions to install. It then copies the compatible version of Voxel Link (.dll and .addin) into those folders. The default folder is:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\<year> for Revit 2026 and earlier 

C:\Users\DougF\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\<yyyy> for Revit 2027 and later

The first time you launch Revit after installing Voxel Link, you’ll be prompted to load the add-in. Depending on your company’s IT policies, it may not be appropriate to select “Always Load”. Check with your IT team.

You will see this prompt again after installing future updates to Voxel Link.

Voxel Link is located in its own (Voxel Labs) panel in the Add-Ins tab. It is the blue icon with white link symbol.
