Voxel Link tracks the following data from RAM:

  • Section size
    • All sections sizes from RAM are capitalized and converted to the equivalent Revit size. Some of the shape names in RAM do NOT all match the family names in Revit but are converted to the appropriate Revit names during import. 
  • Camber
    • Read as numbers from RAM, converted and saved to Revit as text to nearest 1/8". By default, RAM rounds to the nearest 1/8".
  • Studs
    • Read from RAM and saved as text as a single number or a group of numbers separated by " " (a blank space between numbers). No start or end brackets are included, just the number of studs. Start/end brackets should be customized in your annotation family.
  • Reactions (ASD or LRFD based on user import setting)
    • Read as numbers from RAM and saved to the specified Revit parameter as numbers, no units. Sheet notes or tag family settings should match the Voxel Lab settings. Imported reactions can be scaled up with the Reaction Scale Factor setting.
  • Column rotations
    • Read from RAM and transposed to the Revit orientation.
  • Column splices
    • Voxel Link supports global splices, user defined splices and tentative splices (automatically created by RAM when an unspecified change occurs between levels). Changes of each during design are tracked during subsequent updates.
  • Sloping framing via vertical column offsets
    • Deviations of column height from the story heights (via Column->Elevation assignments) are read from RAM and converted to appropriate Start/End Level Offsets in Revit.
