Revit support includes all versions from 2021 - 2026.

Any installed version of RAM is supported. Testing was performed back to version 23.00.01.275. RAM does provide updates and enhancements to their application programming interface (API) with each new version of RAM. There is a check in Voxel Link (VL) to ensure compatibility. If the installed version of the API does not match the version of the RAM file, VL terminates with a warning.

To remedy:

  • The RAM file can be updated (and rerun) to the version on the importing desktop, or
  • The import can be performed on the desktop that ran the RAM analysis.

Normally, this is not an issue when one person is running the RAM model and also running updates with VL on the same desktop. However, if two people (presumably on two different desktops) are sharing the RAM modeling and Revit importing tasks, the installed version of RAM on both desktops must be the same.
